The wifi access was frustratingly inconsistent!!! The icy reception for check-in and the outdated decor could use a refresh!!! The heating system was excessively loud at times!!!

More fun than I expected!

My weekend visit exceeded my expectations! The easy check-in led to a spotless king room, complete with a microwave and fridge. The highlight was the Sunday brunch – a delightful feast with everything from omelets to a chocolate fountain. The staff was friendly, making every moment enjoyable. A truly memorable stay!

Comfortable stay with a twist

Woke up to the aroma of breakfast cooking in the restaurant. The staff’s friendliness genuinely made us feel at home during our stay.

However, we encountered issues with the Wi-Fi being inconsistent, making it tough to stay connected when needed.

The clean and spacious room provided a nice retreat, and the food at the restaurant was delicious, although service could improve as check-ins felt unorganized. The bed was not the most comfortable, but it was a decent stay overall, especially compared to options in the area.

I stayed for 1 night in the Executive King Room and loved how clean and well-equipped it was. The in-room coffee machine, microwave, and fridge were super convenient, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The dessert buffet at the restaurant was a delightful treat after a long day.

Unfortunately, the hot water heater decided to leak into the room. Many amenities advertised, like the jacuzzi and fireplace, weren’t present in our king suite given the extra cost. The pillows felt unusually hard, and the dining service left a bit to be desired with long waits and mixed drink quality. I also noticed that some rooms were a trek up a steep staircase and not equipped with Wi-Fi, which might irk tech-savvy travelers like myself.

i loved my stay at fred's inn restaurant & lodging! the king room was spacious and had the best bed i’ve ever slept in. the staff was super friendly and fulfilled our request for a first-floor room, making it perfect for our family. we also enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant.

My stay was great! The room was spotless, and the staff exceeded my expectations with their kindness. I previously stayed in norwich, but the service and delicious brunch here made this trip lovely.
